Terms of service

Welcome to Don't Overpay Garage. By visiting the store or buying a guide, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the store.

What we sell

We sell digital guides about buying and selling used cars, delivered as downloadable files (PDF and an editable DOCX). We do not sell or ship physical products.

Opinion and general information only

The guides reflect the author's opinion and experience. They are general information only. They are not financial, legal, tax, or professional advice. We don't promise any particular savings, price, or result from using a guide. Vehicle values, laws, fees, and taxes vary by place and change over time, so please verify details for your own situation and talk to a qualified professional when you need to. You're responsible for your own decisions.

Delivery

After payment, you receive a download link by email, and it also appears on your order confirmation page. See our delivery policy for details.

Personal-use license

When you buy a guide, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own purposes. Please don't resell, share, post publicly, or redistribute the guides or any part of them. You may print copies or add your own notes for your own use.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars unless shown otherwise. Launch pricing and compare-at prices may change at any time. We may correct pricing errors.

All sales final

Because the guides are digital downloads, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds. See our refund policy.

Intellectual property

Limitation of liability

The guides and the site are provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for any decisions you make or outcomes you experience when buying, selling, or financing a vehicle. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the guide.
